Allows you to set a skill to be used when countering, skills that target allies will work correctly, though single target skills with be used on the character countering.

Wow, that’s really neat, very usefull for mages and archers, that don’t relieve in physical attack to damage an enemy(My archer class damages by agility).

Thanks, that was part of my goal, might do something with magic reflect next.
This is a really nice script because I don’t use the attack skill in my game.
Something with magic reflect would be nifty. Were you thinking along the lines of counter with a different spell (and just null the incoming attack) or adding bonuse damage (or some other bonus) when a spell is reflected?
There seem to be a bug with enemies NOT disappearing upon being inflicted with Death state (AKA killed) by counter attack.
I suspect using YF’s battle system might be related, but don’t have a proof. I tried moving the script around.
Above YF’s battle system – there’s a bug with all animations.
Below YF’s battle system – there’s a bug with enemies not disappearing upon death.
Any way to solve that?
Try updating YF’s battle system, I have tested this script with YF’s BS but i also use Victors animated battlers.. no issues here
Do you think you could add a few things?
1) make the script check to see if player has learnt the skill before using it as a counter.
2) Allow the script to choice a skill at random from multiple tags (so you can use more then once in notes)
Maybe in the future but I’m really busy at the moment.
